We are an ASI Accredited Stand Up Paddle School and abide by the high international standards for stand up paddle operations.


SUP is a water-sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, anywhere there is water. It can be a serene and peaceful form of gentle exercise or exciting and physically demanding, whichever you choose, it is great for your body.

Training on unbalanced surfaces is very effective for building the core muscle groups, (stomach and back) and for training muscles to fire in co-coordinated ways so that the benefits are immediately transferable to other dynamic sports and activities. This approach is the opposite to traditional resistance training where muscles are trained to work in isolated groups in a stable environment.

Apart from that, the other benefits are:

  • You don't need to be a pro to enjoy it.
  • You're able to enjoy SUP without needing to learn special techniques or tricks.
  • It works out your stomach, abs and arms easily making you stronger and leaner with what seems like little effort.
  • It's just great fun.
  • SUP is a great calm sport, it's not aggressive or testosterone-based, so it's fun and suitable for people of all ages.
  • You can even take your pet or small children stand up paddle boarding, simply sit them on the board! Obviously lifejackets and wetsuits should be used for optimum safety.

It is without a doubt one of the best forms of cross training as it works the core, legs and upper body all at the same time- plus it?s tons of fun.
