To start with I am a burly, wellbuilt guy, 6 years of surf/bodyboard has knocked a fair amount off me but that flattened out in 2009, I started SUP 8 months ago this week and average 3hrs water time per week [having not missed a week since i started], two months ago as an experiment I thought that I would start to keep a chart of my weight on my SUP log as I was wondering why my board shorts were slipping down over my ass, it turns out that since feb 1st I have lost 9 pounds, I have also discovered that I have dropped a jeans size. In short - SUP: it works like Special K...but its alot more fun.:cool:

Super feedback Julian. This is something that doesnt suprise me. I have had simalar results although havnt any concrete evidence. The use of a log is a grat idea. Thanks for sharing this story.
