Go the next level in your SUP Instructor career and gain your ASI L3 SUP Instructor (Beginner Surf) qualification on 10 March 2018, at Aughris Head, County Sligo. Ireland.


This 1-day SUP instructor’s course is to teach beginner SUP Surfing lessons in 1½ ft surf. Topics covered include laws and regulations at SUP surf locations, client management and safety, assessing and identify risks, SUP surfing techniques, equipment, lesson plans, delivering SUP surfing sessions.


Before enrolling in this workshop, instructors must have personal SUP Surfing skills at the intermediate level (one level higher than beginner) and hold or be completing ASI Level 2.


Delivered by ASI Trainer, Paul Byrne, an experienced SUP school owner and SUP Surf competitor with advanced SUP Surf skills. Paul has a wealth of tips and techniques for instructing SUP surfing.


Aughris Head Beach is an unspoilt area that catches all the Atlantic swells. Located about 30 minutes from Sligo town it has lots of facilities such as a Beach Bar, a traditional Irish thatched pub and B&B accommodation. It's a great place to unwind after a great day of SUP surfing.
